DISCLAIMER

RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

The individuals who desire to participate in a movement-based program or AgeDEFY event, workshop, class, or clinic provided by AgeDEFY LLC and/or AgeDEFY Online and/or AgeDEFYMe, and/or AgeDEFY BodyAbility and/or AgeDEFY Movement Therapy, a Colorado Limited Liability Company, located in Denver, Colorado.

As lawful consideration for being permitted by the Company to participate in the Activity/the intangible value that I will gain by participating in the Activity, I agree to all the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement:

I HEREBY ASSUME ALL OF THE RISKS OF PARTICIPATING IN THE ACTIVITY, including by way of example and not limitation, any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by them, or because of their possible liability without fault.

I certify that I am sufficiently prepared or trained for participation in this Activity and have not been advised to not participate by a qualified medical professional. I certify that there are no health-related reasons or problems which preclude my participation in this Activity.

I acknowledge that this Agreement will govern my actions and responsibilities at said Activity and further agree to the following:

(A) I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the Company and/or their directors, officers, volunteers, representatives, and agents, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me including my traveling to and from this Activity;

(B) INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE the Company and/or their directors, officers, volunteers, representatives, and agents from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this Activity, whether caused by the negligence of release or otherwise.

I acknowledge that Company and/or their directors, officers, volunteers, representatives, and agents are NOT responsible for the errors, omissions, acts, or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific Activity on their behalf.

BY PAYING FOR AN AgeDEFY ONLINE STUDIO MEMBERSHIP, INCLUDING THE KICK-START MEMBERSHIP, OR PAYING FOR A SPOT IN AN AgeDEFY WORKSHOP, CLINIC, CLASS, OR EVENT, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD ALL OF THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT AND THAT I AM VOLUNTARILY GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE THE COMPANY. 

MISCELLANEOUS

To avoid injury, begin with the 30 Day AgeDEFY Movement Therapy for Pain and Stiffness Program and when doing the AgeDEFY workouts or any workouts included in the AgeDEFY 4 Studio Membership, remember the practice of Wu Wei.

Wu Wei is not too much and not too little … Do the workouts but don't rush them. Take your time learning about the movements by watching the BodyKnowledge videos for each of the workouts in the AgeDEFY studio. After BodyKnowledge, do the accompanying workout.

If you feel pain during a movement and/or movement pattern, pause and reflect on the pain versus pushing through the pain just to get the workout completed.

The practice of Wu Wei is to find a way around pain and then to figure out how to go beyond it to create a stronger, more youthful, healthier you!

Take your time, don’t rush it, and follow the exercise prescription of each program to receive the greatest benefit.

For Example: Start with Day 1 of every program and continue to go day by day, as prescribed, versus skipping workouts and moving on without guidance.

The studios that have exercise prescriptions are the AgeDEFY, MamaBump, and BodyAbility studios.

The DEFY Cycle and FLOW studio has less BodyKnowledge coaching and this studio should only be taken if you’re a current or past student of Dawnelle’s or if you’ve completed the first 30 days of AgeDEFY Movement Therapy online workouts.

AgeDEFY is unlike any workout or yoga class you’ve ever done before, and it’s important to focus on the movement wisdom and the mind-stretching BodyKnowledge workouts before you push too hard in any of the workouts found in all 4 online AgeDEFY studios.

Most important thing to remember … Have fun!
