AgeDEFY member love story — From pain every day to strong and sculpted today!
When I stopped working out to lose weight after finding out about my hips, my entire life shifted for the better.
This is why I don't talk too much about weight loss when I talk about AgeDEFY.
My coaching approach is to help people to feel good through movement because my theory is when you feel good your body responds.
When you feel good, this is what Can happen:
If you need to lose weight, you will.
If you need to add muscle, you will.
If you need to improve your health — It will take time and effort, but it will happen.
But first, you have to train your mind, body, and spirit to feel good.
If you don't feel good, it doesn't matter what pills, potions, or shakes you take to weight loss, it won't work forever.
The only forever is for you to learn how to challenge yourself through a variety of movement medicine exercises to feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally every single day.
When you don't feel good physically, mentally, spiritually, it’s hard to move long enough and hard enough to lose weight.
When you're in constant pain, working out seems hard.
This is why I don't talk about weight loss at AgeDEFY because weight loss is the least of my worries for people.
My only job as an AgeDEFY coach is to teach movement as medicine for the mind, body, and spirit and to help improve how people feel on a daily basis.
Being in pain sucks, but being in pain and feeling sluggish, worn out, overweight, and tired sucks even more! This is why I am so happy Anna decided to join AgeDEFY last September.
For the past 6 months, she has come to almost every Sunday morning BarreFLOW class at Studio BodyAbility and she does a variety of workouts on her own from the AgeDEFY online library during the week.
Her 6-month transformation is pretty incredible and I’m so excited to share it with you today.
