Coaching Advice: Most students begin with no props at all. The focus is on learning the fundamental movement patterns first. As you fall in love with each workout style, you can gradually add props to deepen your practice.

DIY Mobility Stick

You don’t need to buy an expensive “mobility stick.” You can easily make one yourself!

  1. Go to your local hardware store.

  2. Head to the plumbing aisle.

  3. Find the PVC pipe with a 3/4-inch diameter and 480 psi (the pipe’s thickness and pressure rating).

    • The details matter → Don’t grab a different size or lower psi than 3/4-inch and 480psi

  4. Buy one 10-foot pipe and ask the store to cut it in half.

  5. You’ll go home with two sticks for the price of one pipe!

Begin with Movement Therapy 101, a 45-minute session introducing AgeDEFY foot therapy, lymphatic health, spine flexibility, and joint mobility. Once completed, you’re ready to join live classes!

Most classes require a yoga mat. Some workouts use resistance bands, weights, blue steppers, or mobility sticks, but you can do every workout without equipment or props.
